DELIVERING SAFE, RELIABLE, AND SECURE PRODUCTS TO THE FENCING, SECURITY, AND SAFETY INDUSTRIES, PROUDLY MADE IN AUSTRALIA SINCE 1975

Our dedicated in-house logistics team is ready to ensure you receive your products precisely when you need them. Our in-house logistics provide us with flexibility, and we also collaborate with fleet partners to facilitate fencing deliveries across Australia.

We offer multiple delivery options, including store delivery, site delivery, or customer pickup.

CUSTOMER PICKUP

Pickup hours are Monday – Friday | 7:30 am – 4:00 pm. Loads are subject to the HVNL (Heavy Vehicle National Law) regulations.

DELIVERY TO CUSTOMERS

Protective Fencing efficiently delivers products across Australia, including metropolitan and regional areas in New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, Queensland, the Australian Capital Territory, South Australia, the Northern Territory, and Western Australia. Pricing depends on the project.

Hi-ab (crane) unloading is available and must be notified at the time of the order. Store deliveries must be unloaded within 30 minutes via forklift.

COMPLIANCE WITH HEAVY VEHICLE NATIONAL LAW (HVNL)

The load on a heavy vehicle MUST:

  • Be secured so it is unlikely to fall or be dislodged
  • Be restrained using an appropriate restraint method
  • Be placed, secured, or restrained in a way that meets the loading performance standards listed in Schedule 7 of the Heavy Vehicle (Mass, Dimension, and Loading) National Regulation.

The load on a heavy vehicle MUST NOT:

  • Be placed in a way that makes the vehicle unstable or unsafe.

PACKAGING

Our standard packaging ensures that your product is delivered in the same condition it left our warehouse. Additional packaging is available at the customer’s expense (Price on Application). Please ensure that packaging products are disposed of or recycled appropriately.

UNLOADING, DELIVERY, AND DEMURRAGE

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the site is accessible. Protective will not be responsible for any damage resulting from the unloading of goods by the customer, their representatives, or Protective’s employees or agents.

If requested to enter a property, Protective accepts no responsibility for any damage caused by Protective, its employees, or agents to the property and goods on the property.

If unloading time exceeds 30 minutes, the customer will be charged $100 per hour or part thereof.

CARE, STORAGE & HANDLING OF PRODUCT ON SITE

It is advisable to store all goods neatly, clear of the ground (on timber pallets or similar), protected with waterproof covers.

If the product becomes wet or exposed to direct sunlight while packaged, separate, wipe, and stack it in a dry, covered place.

Protect all painted surfaces. Do not drag the product over each other or other building materials or tools.

RE-DELIVERY

In cases where delivery is attempted but not completed due to reasons beyond Protective Fencing’s control, a re-delivery charge may be applied.

At Protective Fencing, we take pride in maintaining the largest stock inventory of security perimeter fencing products in Australia. Our commitment to stock availability ensures that you have immediate access to the fencing solutions you need.

While we strive to meet delivery expectations, sometimes unforeseen factors can impact timelines. In such cases, your customer service representative will contact you as early as practicable to inform you of any revisions to the delivery date.
