Five reasons to be proud. One incredible team.

Profence had plenty to celebrate at the 2026 Central Coast Business Awards on Friday, 25 September. With recognition across five categories, the night was an opportunity to celebrate the people, teamwork and commitment behind Protective Fencing.

We are incredibly proud of our entire team. From manufacturing and fabrication to drafting, sales, administration, dispatch and transport, every person contributes to the quality of our work and the strength of our business. These achievements belong to the people who show up, support one another and help us deliver for our customers every day.

A regional win for Ben Gregson

Congratulations to Ben Gregson, who was named the regional winner in Outstanding Business Leader – 21 Employees and Over. Ben was unable to attend the awards night, so members of the Profence team accepted the award on his behalf and celebrated together.

Ben is now a NSW State Finalist in the same category. We are delighted to see his leadership recognised and look forward to cheering him on at the state awards.

Recognition across five categories

Protective Fencing and our people were recognised in the following categories at the 2026 Central Coast Business Awards:

  • Employer of Choice – 21 Employees and Over: Regional Finalist, Protective Fencing.
  • Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion: Regional Finalist, Protective Fencing.
  • Excellence in International Business: Regional Finalist, Protective Fencing.
  • Outstanding Employee: Regional Finalist, Brad Meijer, Protective Fencing.
  • Outstanding Business Leader – 21 Employees and Over: Regional Winner, Ben Gregson, Protective Fencing; now a NSW State Finalist.

Congratulations, Brad — and thank you, team

A special congratulations to Brad Meijer on being shortlisted as a finalist in the Outstanding Employee category. Individual recognition is a proud moment for the whole business, and we are pleased to celebrate Brad alongside the team.

Our finalist recognition in Employer of Choice and Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion is particularly meaningful because our business is built on people. Practical skills, different perspectives, shared knowledge and respect for one another all have a place at Profence. Recognition in Excellence in International Business is another reason to celebrate the work happening across the company.

A proud chapter in the Profence story

As an Australian family-owned manufacturer with more than 50 years of history, we know that lasting success is built together. Awards give us a moment to pause and appreciate that effort — including the contributions of colleagues who could not be there on the night.

Thank you to Business NSW, the judges, sponsors and organisers for bringing the Central Coast business community together. Congratulations to all the finalists and winners, and thank you to our customers and partners for their continued support.

Most of all, congratulations to the entire Profence team. We are proud of what we have achieved together and excited about what comes next.
