Fencing Federal Highways Australia

The Majura Parkway is an exciting new road development that will seamlessly connect the Federal Highway to the Monaro Highway.

The $288 million joint Commonwealth and ACT Government project is on schedule to be completed by the middle of 2016. Part of the road infrastructure project has been completed, with the opening of the northbound lane of the Majura Parkway linking Canberra Airport with the Federal Highway. 

Protective Fencing provided 7.3km of Profence Steelmesh Fencing as a safety barrier between the parkway and a dedicated cycleway. The welded wire mesh fence panels were hot dipped galvanised to ensure optimum product life.

The project was supplied and installed by Schofield Fencing. Protective Fencing and Schofield Fencing worked closely to ensure panels were manufactured and delivered to meet the construction program set by the builders.
