PIPE PROCESS FABRICATION
Fabricating steel posts involves cutting and shaping the pipe to create the desired shape. This can be done using a variety of methods, such as welding, grinding, or using a pipe benders.
The process of fabricating steel posts generally starts with cutting the steel to the desired length. Next, the steel is shaped into the desired profile using either a welding torch or a grinder.
Our steel pipe fabrication services include:
- Cutting – Pipe cut to length, pack cutting, common sizes in stock
- Drilling – Holes drilled to suit requirements
- Pipe Bending – Pipe cranked to the degrees required (depending on pipe Dia)
- Indenting – Fence line wire or topping 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 indent, customisable.
- Swaging – End of pipe swaged for seamless finish.
- Pipe Fittings – All complementary pipe fittings.
- Welding services – Flanges and additional fittings
Once the posts have been fabricated, they can then be powder coated or galvanised to meet your project requirements.
Steel Pipe fabrication is a versatile and cost-effective way to create custom posts for your next project.
MILD STEEL GALVANISED PIPE FABRICATION
Protective use high quality galvanised steel pipe tubing with a protective Zinc coating. Galvanising is the process of applying a protective Zinc coating to steel in order to prevent it from rusting.
The steel is first cleaned and then dipped in a molten Zinc bath, resulting in a strong and durable finish. Galvanised steel is often used for outdoor applications such as fencing, as the Zinc coating provides an effective barrier against the elements.
In addition, galvanised steel is more economical than other types of steel thanks to its long lifespan and low maintenance requirements.
Standard products available in stock include:
- Extra Light- Green
- Light – Yellow
- Medium – Blue
When choosing steel for your next project, be sure to ask for galvanised steel pipes to get the most durable and cost-effective product.
