HIGH SECURITY FENCING PRODUCTS SUITABLE FOR PROTECTING CAR PARKS
Car park projects can need perimeter fencing, pedestrian separation, mesh screening and infill within engineered barrier systems. Start by identifying the required function of each element, particularly at vehicle routes and changes in level.
Perimeter fencing and mesh infill
Explore PROMAX 358 mesh, steelmesh, tubular and chainwire options for boundary or screening requirements. Where mesh forms part of an engineered barrier, provide the complete assembly drawings, support details and specified fixing arrangement.
A security fence or mesh panel should not be assumed to provide vehicle restraint or fall protection on its own. The responsible designer needs to establish the required performance and assess the complete system for its location and intended use.
Information to prepare
- Site address and whether the project is new construction or a retrofit.
- The purpose of each fence, screen or barrier-infill area.
- Plans, elevations, dimensions, levels and gate openings.
- Support, fixing and structural-interface details where applicable.
- Finish, required documentation, quantities and delivery stages.
Include visibility, pedestrian entries and maintenance access in the layout discussion. For associated buildings, see Commercial; for construction-stage supply, see Construction.
