RECOMMENDED PRODUCTS FOR FENCING ROAD INFRASTRUCTURE
HIGH SECURITY FENCING PRODUCTS SUITABLE FOR PROTECTING ROAD INFRASTRUCTURE
Road projects can require boundary fencing, pedestrian separation, bridge screening and mesh components for engineered barrier assemblies. Define the function of each element before choosing a product: these applications are not interchangeable.
Select against the road authority’s details
Chainwire, steelmesh, tubular fencing and custom mesh provide different starting points depending on the location and purpose. Public paths may also call for a cycle-path fencing arrangement. The nominated road authority drawings and project specification should determine the final system.
Where a fence or screen connects to a bridge, retaining structure or vehicle barrier, have the complete arrangement assessed by the project designer. A mesh panel or perimeter fence should not be treated as a vehicle restraint or fall-protection system simply because it is used beside a road.
