HIGH SECURITY FENCING PRODUCTS SUITABLE FOR PROTECTING RAIL INFRASTRUCTURE
Rail projects cover more than the trackside boundary. Stations, depots, maintenance compounds and public approaches each need fencing suited to their purpose and the rail operator’s requirements.
Match the fence to the location
For security boundaries, investigate PROMAX 358 anti-climb mesh, PROPALE palisade and Boulevard Security. Chainwire, tubular and steelmesh options provide other starting points where the brief calls for boundary definition, visibility or a particular appearance.
Keep public-facing areas and restricted operational areas distinct in the specification. Fence panels, gates, posts and transitions should form a coordinated arrangement; any rail-specific interfaces need the operator’s review.
Information to prepare
- The rail authority’s specification and the purpose of each fence run.
- Plans showing boundaries, levels, structures and access points.
- Required heights, finishes and gate opening sizes.
- Maintenance access and installation staging around existing operations.
- Required product documentation and approval milestones.
The products shown are options to investigate, not a statement of approval for every rail network or location. Confirm the nominated system and its details with the project team before ordering.
